I read a few message boards to get a little info and insight to what is going on with WVU. You are a common denominator everywhere. You argue with everyone. I am just amazed that people don't see that you shovel as much ******** as you do accurate info.

I read your posts because whether one likes or dislikes your manner, you deliver somewhat accurate info about WVU BB targets that is funneled your way. One just has to learn to maneuver through the amazing amounts of spin and ********.

Anyways, back to Myers.

While he would have definitely caused a lot of guys to lose minutes and we will undoubtedly miss his scoring, handles, shooting, and play-making, I think team chemistry just might be the one benefit to him coming in December and red-shirting the spring. Paige and Philip are the two most likely to benefit the most because I think their minutes would have be the most affected.

Myers is absolutely a significant setback that was expected by no one, including Huggins, who felt earlier this summer Myers would enroll & join the team in August once the fall semester began.

As to Myers not coming to WVU at all & apparently going back to JUCO across the country, I don't entirely get that. Must not be able to enroll at WVU just yet. Let's hope one delay doesn't turn into more.

Seemed everyone was in agreement he'd play an impactful role this season, and even had a possible shot at earning the starting PG job as the season progressed.

The team does need additional scoring punch (2-year leading scorer is gone) & could certainly improve shooting percentages from 3, 2 & FTs. Of course the nation's leading JUCO scorer could only help in those ways. Same for Myers' passing, driving & transition game.

In his absence, we've got a PG who hasn't started yet - but has some experience and ability yes - and a true freshman PG who should be good in time, but needs to get acclimated to division I basketball.

Even though Carter gives WV his most productive minutes at the 2, he's gonna hhave to contribute at the 1. Unless Phillip & Bolden can together service the position, which could turn out.

always a PG is needed to facilitate offense & assist the rest of the team. Staten was a rare talent & will be missed. Led the BXII in scoring as a junior ahead of A.Wiggins. Browne too was a 4-year guy & gave solid minutes plus leadership.

while the team was No. 2 in the BXII in scoring, it's shooting percentages were among the bottom. have to work so hard on the glass & with points off turnovers. improved shooting accuracy will allow for more pressing too.

I am confident Huggs will find a way & a rotation that works.

No we will not have a 1st team all conference PG this year. But all we need is consistency to benefit our 1st team PF, SG, and hopefully all rookie SF

WVU will be fine at PG in 2015. Phillip brings the calm stability of a JD or Darris..... Who can get in the lane and dish out to guys like Dax, Paige, and Carter for 3s. Carter is a good scoring PG but he is proven more productive off the ball so it is simply where can we max his use? Bolden could be starting if he had 20lbs more on his frame.

Btw, Carter is up over 205lbs now and he has added the bulk to be able to get into the paint and take the blows to get to the line --- ala Truck Bryant

I think we will be OK at guard. Where I'd like to see improvement is the three footers, the lay-ups and the put-backs. Too many bunnies missed. It seems to me that while our guys are great at getting offensive rebounds, they are often shooting from contorted positions and not square to the basket. They can take an easy shot and find a way to increase the degree of difficulty. Sometimes I think a rebound, followed by a head fake or some footwork would be the better option, if not a kick-out to reset instead of hoisting it up from a bad position. I like the depth - should be a fun team to watch develop.

so there's what 5 guards now? You'd think a couple will emerge who can handle PG duties. I think Esa was touted as a guy who could be a 1-3 even. High bball IQ, feel for the game, good passer, shooter, can dribble & penetrate. The traits of a PG. Just putting another name in the mix if it were to come to that. I still think it'll be Phillip/Carter/Bolden in differing order & pending who is effective on what night.

The caveat is true PG depth & experience is lacking a bit right at this very moment. No Myers is a setback as he would have helped solidify the position that just graduated 2 seniors. That got the ball rolling for this discussion.

& for the others on the floor, this all is important. X, Y and Z receivers need a good QB the same way 2s, 3s and 4s need a good PG.

He does nothing but run around all the message boards whenever there is **** going on he's in the middle of it. He gets into it with everyone. He is the biggest *** hat troll and has been for a long time.

I think that's a little strong. But I've learned to look over his unwillingness to admit that we have been god awful in both sports until Huggs finally quit going the mercenary route and recruited kids who want to be here. Mainly because he does have some good info. And let's face it we all have our personality quirks. Keaton is a homer to the core. And I can't make up my mind how I feel about our football team. Although I'm pretty sure our coach isn't the best I do hold optimism for him to get better. But that quickly turns to disdain if we hit one of his patented November skids. I flip flop. Show us this place where I posted "time and time again." I remember one thread a few weeks ago in which I made several posts that called you into question. Other than that I have no idea what you would be talking about. And I have been on this board since then NOT on a daily basis and have made very few posts. In your book this makes me a "stalker."

I am guessing that you actually believe your own BS. But you should know that few others believe it.

I rest my case. Keaton's assertion that Steel is a stalker has been shown to be an empty bag. That's the real story here. Not some fabricated assertion about me being a stalker. (Which is exactly what Keaton did to Steel. Hmmmm? Makes you wonder.)

I'm expecting Goard to surprise with some good minutes too. I liked what I saw of him in Vernons feeds from the Bahamas. West has a great attitude and hustle, but he does need a little strength and weight. Did Adrian have surgery as well as Watkins this year?

This is not that big a loss. Esa was the one type of player WVU needed to put them over the top. The other incoming guys add more quality depth. If everyone stays healthy this will be a great season for WVU.
