Jon is a good young man and a very good up and coming coach that’s my commentsSidenote based on a couple comments in this thread....kinda took me back to a thought i had the other day about the future of the Hill. Seems to me that Jon Crompton is back involved in some Mtn football as of late. Helping the duo QB and WR Kachilo and Manual at West is what I heard first. Then hear he was guaranteed an OC job somewhere that didn't pan out for whatever reason. Kinda got me to thinking...will JC be that next bad hire for THS? I mean, the guy did well at UT and had a few good games here or there. Cut from Chargers...but i assure you none of that matters when running a HS football program. With that said, based on the two years of trader ball he played for Travis at THS and his accolades and or "next level playing experience"....I could easily see him being hired when they get tired of Chris on the Hill! Won't make a hill of beans diff though and especially where you can count on the Milltown Boys beating the brakes off an NFL preseason QB just the same as everyone else who's tried the last decade!! Hell, take his 6'5 frame away and give it to Zach Jaynes and you would have had a first ballot NFL HOF in my opinion! Not a huge fan of the guy. He's his biggest fan and nobody loves Jon like Jon!!![]()

As strange as kissing the grandmother on the lips strange.I may sit on the visitors side just to get some sense of normalcy. Let's face it this is going to be very very strange.
This thread has been a blast. Actually I’m glad you all are using the stadium. Makes no sense traveling to other counties. This thread right here is the exact reason the P/T rivalry will never be topped. It's playoff time and neither of our fan bases can focus on the task at hand.
Southern Guilford has some big boys up front. Hopefully our linemen are up to the task. I'm sure SG will have some speed, hopefully they'll have a some bus lag from the long trip. Pisgah played a great game against NH hopefully that momentum will stay with them.
As far as playing at tuscola goes, I'm sure this came from school administrators not wanting to spend money on playing at another venue. I can assure you none of the Pisgah Nation wants to play in waynesville. I may sit on the visitors side just to get some sense of normalcy. Let's face it this is going to be very very strange. Thankful tho the field is available. I guess there's a positive out of tuscola having to travel, I don't have to spend money in buncombe county.
I just wonder how many of these tuscola posters will stay and watch Pisgah play and not travel to Concord.
Hey 91 blow the dust off that "The Game" triple H music clip we may want to borrow that too. On second thought never mind, we'll bring our own.
Something you are trying to tell us PB?As strange as kissing the grandmother on the lips strange.
You're right, 1 playoff win in 10 years.Haha this is really sad, but I’m glad some little t posters have something to grab at. It’s pretty bad it had to be the bears not having a home field. If anyone paid attention they would know there was no way for the schedules to work out during the regular season and honestly other than the boys deserving not having to travel I’d rather play in Guilford county. Probably the latest football game played in Waynesville in close to ten years. Lucky or not (luck had nothing to do with it-you guys are still choking) you just wasted your only shot at a win for sometime to come in this rivalry, you played half of the Pisgah varsity team the other half was on crutches. At this point you guys should be worried your field will have a longer season than your team and not who has or doesn’t have game threads.
We haven't lost on that field in 10 years, so I am good with that kind of mojo.I can assure you none of the Pisgah Nation wants to play in waynesville
Been a long time since y'all played a home playoff game too. Since 09 if I'm not mistaken.Well we haven’t lost a playoff game there in years either!
2016 was when both teams went to SP….Hasn’t been as long as we were a 1 seed and got knocked outta the first round though.
Oh wait that wasn’t Tuscola.
And more like 2016…..
You'd think tuscola could at least win a conference title then huh?Hasn’t been as long as we were a 1 seed and got knocked outta the first round though.

Wow! Congratulations! We won conference that year too, and both the 1st and 2nd rd gamesIn which we won our first round game at home.
Yeah, keep holding on to that. That’s about all you got right nowI’ll be honest. I won’t ever forget that time a 1 seed lost first round. Best playoff memory in the history of playoffs.
I think Pisgah will dominate this game up front. SG is ok and they played a very tough schedule, and honestly Pisgah won’t be best team they’ve faced. But those really really good teams on SG’s schedule also destroyed them. I’m going Pisgah 35 SG 7This thread right here is the exact reason the P/T rivalry will never be topped. Injuries hit the offensive line the most. Defensive line is still intact. We have moved some players, that were backups and on the JV team, into starting spots. Luckily, our coaches have had two or three weeks to get everyone acclimated to their new positions. It showed, as the North game was our most complete game of the year, as we had 487 yds rushing. When our JVs were injury free and still all together, they could have beaten some varsity teams. If Pisgah get healthy up front they are pretty stout. But they have been beat up all year and I think the injuries unfortunately have been pretty major. I hope I’m completely wrong on that.
CE Weatherby unfortunately brings out the best in Pisgah.
What is SG’s colors? Lol

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a Pisgah team that would quit. The toughness of the mill town Canton and Clyde people is legendaryGriddie, I hope you're spot on with that score. This Pisgah team is a little different in the way they do things. That may be because of the season has gone. There is no quit in them. They've had plenty of opportunities to do so, and no one would blame them. Truly next man up mentality. I don't think this will be a high scoring game but who knows. I'll take a one point win. If I'm putting a score on it, I'll go 24-14.
This team hasn’t had the luxury of taking anything for granted this year. I could be wrong, but I don’t think they will overlook SG. Should be a good game.I think this game will be competitive. Won't be shocked if S.Guilford wins. They have been tested by far superior teams. Trust me facing Pigsah will be a blessing for them. I got Pisgah winning but something tells me their history of a 1 seed may show it's ugly face again
Keep seeing people talking about that number one seed .They never mention that we lost our running back. along with our punter/tight end, who is currently playing at N.C State in that game.I think this game will be competitive.
