Haven't heard of one and I think that is because this team has NO leader. I thought it might be Mo D. In the game against UL or MSU (I can't remember) where he missed so many 3s in the first half and it was pretty obvious that Pope told him at halftime to drive because he did. Don't believe your leader will be Oweh.

At this point UK has nothing going for it.

Poor coaching of offense and defense, rotation, motivation, chemistry etc.
Poor recruiting...no recruits.
Players have not emotion or energy just like their coach.

Pope looks totally lost. Time for him to call players out and kick them off or sit them on the bench. A 50 points win against NC Central won't cut it.

This team and staff are lost!!!

The many trolls that have commented on this makes me giggle! 🤭😁😆Even when UK is down, you still have jealous fans from rivals that decide to spend hours here. 🤣🤣🤣

Our best player to date is Collin. He is a mature 21 year old sophomore with life experiences that most of us posting here probably don’t have. However, he seems to be more reserved and could be a leader by example but probably not the guy to get into another teammates face. Last year, Lamont was the leader but also Jaxon, Kobe, Amari, and Andrew could and probably did assume that role at times. Last year’s team was an anomaly in this crazy time of the NIL. Any of the above guys could be a great role model and difference if they were on this team. Believe the subtraction of a player or players would have the most positive impact and help right this sinking ship.

Most of what you said there points to him not being a leader so what the hell does any of that other bs matter for this?

Collin has far exceeded my pre-season expectations. Unfortunately, the rest of the team has met their (role player ceiling) expectations with only a handful like MM showing any promise.

Agree with the first part of your statement but was the 2nd half of your statement necessary? I was simply pointing out that we had multiple leaders last year who respected each other and would not be offended if their teammate spoke out contrary to this year’s team who don’t exhibit those qualities. Hope you feel better in rebuking me for my comment and opinion? Have a nice day!

I wouldn’t say that, I’d bet the majority of posters here have been married decade(s) and a lot of us have grandchildren even.

Agree, I have been married decades and have grandchildren also. However, I am sure that the 2 years that Collin spent on the mission field in a different culture has greatly contributed to his maturity and perspective on life. He seems to be a great young man and one of the bright lights on this years team!

He’s definitely more seasoned and mature than almost anyone his age especially these days I’m sure.
