If Lindsay isn't back for Saturday, I will be worried. A loss to Rutgers and our NCAA dream is close to DOA.

This Rutgers game becomes the most important game of the season. I agree... if we lose to Rutgers, then we are in BIG trouble. We're won't be dead, but the road will be really really hard.

A loss to Rutgers would make the Purdue game the most important of the year. Purdue (hopefully by then top-10 ranked) would be the last team left in the schedule whose defeat would for certain erase the stigma of losing to Rutgers.

Then again, in my scheme, we should defeat PU anyway in order to have (exactly) two (high) quality wins (with Wiscy) in our NCAA resume.

If we lose to Rutgers at home, we don't deserve to go to the tournament. That's in the NCAA bylaws.

Last year's Rutgers (much, much worse than this one) beat Wisconsin in a game.

They should have gotten Wisconsin this year at MSG, and they played us tough for about 37 minutes at home. This isn't a gimme. But tournament teams take care of games like this one.
