For all the troubled souls who was worried about how Mt Airy looked in there Wednesday scrimmage at Galax, well looked like to me tonight all is well in the granite city and the Bears are gonna be as good as advertised. When the rest of the puzzle getson the field they are gonna be scary good. VERY IMPRESSED with the sophomore qb tonight, outside of one pick he made very good decisions against a very good Randleman team. Bears moved the ball out will , scored first play of the game on deep ball to Greene. Qb looked good running the ball as well. Really enjoyed the format of this scrimmage, basically a live half of football. Very fun environment indeed

Great seeing him catch that opening pass for a td on the field he will be playing on next year. Wake had a pretty good recruiting class, hopefully a few more to follow

No, but I've seen him play for years now. When he ran that Tarboro back down in the state title game from behind, all you could do is shake your head. The big schools will regret not pressing for him, though I personally think he'd be a great free safety with his athleticism and size.

Kaulin Smith is at Ma, suffered a minor knee injury day before they got home from camp. He will be back in the line up the 2nd or 3rd game
