McKee is the LDS that will take a mission trip. Wouldn't report until fall 2019
Sounds ok to me, if of course they can hold his commit that long. I realize we will probably want another body in the QB room but I'm hoping neither POB nor Gebbia gets discouraged by lack of immediate opportunity and leaves. Another hotshot next year and I'd think it will up the chances of someone leaving. Of course that would be a nice dilemma after the past seven years.

From what we've heard from Devany and others, is this guy (Lee) will probably be a 1st rounder after next year!! (At least that's my interpretation.) No need to worry about POB or Gebbia leaving as they will fight it out the following spring for the starter position. If Lee doesn't win the job this fall, I wouldn't be surprised if he left as a grad transfer.

The only way Lee goes in the first round is if we win the national championship. He might have first round potential but he has zero exposure and one starting year isn't enough (Not gonna count those Tulane years because those are definitely not first rounder numbers). And I'm not saying he won't be a first rounder eventually, just not after one year. Hopefully he'll win the job, have 70%+ accuracy, throw 30+ TD's and lead us to a B1G championship appearance, then come back for his final season.

One year of exposure isn't enough? How is North Carolina's QB, Trubisky projected as the number 12 overall pick with only 13 career starts? Lee has the endorsement of the Manning's and was referred to Riley by Mortenson. I don't think Trubisky has received those types of endorsement s

Fine. Let's fight Georgia Tech and Navy for the best option QB in the nation.
