He’s out there for 1 reason. Shoot the three. He’s wide open more than once, pass , turnover, repeat. I’m going directly at his as* if I’m opposing coach.
Sadly he is in over his head but you are correct. He at least tries. That said he needs to shoot the ball because that what he does. He has a nose for the ball, but he doesn’t seem to be doing that this year. He can give you 10-15 minutes a game of some shooting and High energy. Unfortunately he’s being asked to be a real player because other guys are not even trying.Noah isn’t the problem, so I don't know why we are picking on him.
Pick on the guys that are getting 5 times Noah's $, that are supposed to be the leaders of the team.
Noah did some really good things as a role player last year, in particular, @ Tennesee. He’s simply a role player that comes in to spell other players, he's the least of our worries.
This team hates each other, there is something going on in the locker room and it has the rest of the team in limbo, that includes Noah, Chandler, JJ and Aberdeen. Those are the guys put there playing hard.
I'll take a mid player that plays hard, over a stud guy that is mailing it in and pouting.
Well at least he had more rebounds (4) in fewer minutes than Moreno and Garrison. He’s out there for 1 reason. Shoot the three. He’s wide open more than once, pass , turnover, repeat. I’m going directly at his as* if I’m opposing coach.
He was better last year and that shouldn't be a surprise, last years team liked each other. The current atmosphere has the entire team shook and in a negative space.Sadly he is in over his head but you are correct. He at least tries. Last night Noah was 1/3 from three, had 4 rebounds in 14 minutes, 1 turnover. Why are some of you picking on Noah? The only gripe I have is he passed up a couple shots. Noah is a spot up shooter and a couple of our lead guards are reluctant to pass the ball. He’s not great on defense but the rest of the team minus a couple are not either. Would you rather watch Oweh stand and let the ball bounce to the other team?Sadly he is in over his head but you are correct. He at least tries. Yikes. I didn't realize the numbers were this bad and make me realize how much Andrew Carr is missed.Noah stinks yes.
But our 3 other 4 men are a combined 11/62 from 3 so….coach has no idea what to do.
Noah has a lot of potential upside. He is not being put in the best position given some of the guys we have out. He’s out there for 1 reason. Shoot the three. He’s wide open more than once, pass , turnover, repeat. I’m going directly at his as* if I’m opposing coach.
True.If Noah had stayed at South Carolina he would drop 20 on us every year and people would gripe we didn't offer him.
I’ll take Noah with less athleticism out there playing his *** off than watching these overpaid dudes doing their zombie walk. What’s the difference really? At least he gives us an option outside the arc. He’s out there for 1 reason. Shoot the three. He’s wide open more than once, pass , turnover, repeat. I’m going directly at his as* if I’m opposing coach.
If the “studs” produced, he wouldn’t playNoah is not what is wrong with this team. He got out of a scholarship with South Carolina to come here. He plays for the name on the front of the jersey. And he gives effort and has heart. If the so called "studs" on this team produced he'd be a nice complementary player.
I disagree strongly. He’s out there for 1 reason. Shoot the three. He’s wide open more than once, pass , turnover, repeat. I’m going directly at his as* if I’m opposing coach.
lay off aunt Harriet manBefore the season I was afraid the roster had a lot of Robins without a Batman. Now it looks like we are made up of a few Robins with lots of Alfreds and Aunt Harriets. Even worse Commissioner Gordon is the AD and Chief O’Hara is the coach.
Yes, last year we had guys who could shoot, pass and they liked each other. Noah was able to get good open looks last year. With our roster this year he's having to create his own shot and he isn't quick or athletic enough to do so.He was better last year and that shouldn't be a surprise, last years team liked each other. The current atmosphere has the entire team shook and in a negative space.
Agree totally. Noah is not even close to being our problem. Don’t know how anyone can watch this team and choose to pick on a kid that plays as hard as Noah does. Plus, he’s probably our best option shooting the 3 other than maybe Chandler. The kid does need to work on getting his shot off quicker. How about our staff manufacture some sets to get him and Chandler open?Yes, last year we had guys who could shoot, pass and they liked each other. Noah was able to get good open looks last year. He's one of my least concerns because he hustles and wants to be here. He would be a good role player for us but unfortunately we have a lot of selfish guys who aren't interested in passing or winning.
the problem is we have to play him.Noah is borderline D1 role player. He’s not the problem and not expected to save us.
I suspect a few of them will leave and probably a good thing for them, go someplace that will use you properly and less pressureNoah will leave and go somewhere he can start. Why sit most of the game at Kentucky plus not win anything?
Thats the thing. Every really good team has a guy just like him that contributes because they run stuff that can get them looks and guys actually look for them. He plays hard and cares. Thats more than we can say for some of the others.Yes, last year we had guys who could shoot, pass and they liked each other. Noah was able to get good open looks last year. Totally agree. With the right roster he would be a solid role player for us. Every good team has a guy like him who contributes off the bench and hustles for rebounds and loose balls.Thats the thing. Well said !Noah isn’t the problem, so I don't know why we are picking on him.
