I like Nolan - seems like a good kid but, try fielding a competitive team instead of knocking the fans.

I guess spending all that time in the duke cocoon - getting 5* funneled to you every year by nike, and having the ACC mandate they get every call to go their way, has made him oblivious to the way things work at 99% of other programs.

What did he say that was so wrong? “Great fans”? I’m good with that. “Being harsh on us right now”? Truth. If he would have added, “and we deserve that” it would have been better. Got to think he and Manning are talking to their agents daily.

i guess i see this team as we suck this year and we'll win next year and be the worst to first team that gets everyone on board. if coaches bail during a struggle, would you want to hire that coach? i'd think it'd look bad on them for not doing their job and quitting in the face of adversity. but i get your point

Have you ever worked for a boss that was clearly in over their head, things are going from bad to worse and this boss has no intention of going anywhere? I have and I know that others have as well. Best option…get away from that toxic environment. Pretty sure that Nolan and Danny won’t be judged by this team’s performance. Kenny owns that.

Not sure I agree with that. Young players don’t want to commit to a 2-14 program, if they have other top offers to choose from. That’s why Georgetown is having such a tough job recruiting top players recently.

I think the only kids U of L is starting to fade with are the OAD kids who want their one year in college to be successful. And we shouldn't be recruiting many kids at that level anyway. With the portal, these guys can change directions quickly and go anywhere.

If you're gonna be in college two years or more, playing ball at U of L is not a huge risk in 2023...
