Christian Phillips Warren. 12 carries, 112 yards. 2 catches, 69 yards 4 TD’s in 34-0 win at Libertyville. First time Warren has won at Libertyville since 2013.

Matt Maschmeier Naperville North. 98 yard kickoff return for a TD. 87 yard INT for a TD. 7 catches for 142 yards including an 80 yard catch and run for a TD. North wins 31-28 over Waubonsie Valley.

Echo the nomination for Montini's Deontay Bell

19-30, 305 yards and 5 touchdowns. 15 carries, 203 yards and a touchdown.

Helped Montini erase a 35-17 second half deficit to defeat a young, but pretty darn good St. Rita team.

Naper Norths Maschmeier...just crazy what this kid did on Friday. I know there were incredible performances all over, but he did it on EVERY side of the ball...all three (lol). Simply one of the most important and incredible performaces that ive seen in a long time from a kid who's as humble as it gets. This might be a finalist for performace of the year.

McHenry’s Gracie Gasmann with 2 field goals in their 20-10 upset of Jacobs at least deserves recognition.

Why wouldn't she belong? I'm saying two field goals isn't worthy of Player of the Week. Have you ever nominated another field goal kicker for making two field goals in a game?

Seems to me a field goal kicker made your beloved Bears semi legitimate for at least a week.
