Are they still running it basically like an independent/home school team? At one point it was open to anybody, whether they went to school there or not. Or are they in the NCISAA for football now?

I ask Gary Ayers last night if he was calling the game and he said he was so I took from that that it would be streamed live since he is the voice of the Maroon Network

Well if there anything like most of them homeschool private academy teams Swain will probably blow them out. Heck i remember when we went out that way back in 2012 or 2013 and blew out Asheville school 69 to like 0 had a bunch of folks saying we shouldn't have even played our starters against them thats how poor of a team they were. Absolutely terrible that SMC teams are still willing to play these types of schools. It doesn't do anything good for either kids. But i can understand short notice you gotta do what you gotta do but cmon man i think I'd rather take the open week.

They play some serious basketball—private school state champs and UNC has offered their best player. Caleb Mills from Florida State also played basketball there. But I think their football team just started and is more like one of those club teams. At least for now. They did play Avery last spring and lost 42-20.

Swain with 20 straight points to go up 20-8 in the 2nd. The Lions, don’t know who they are, muffed a kickoff after a 15 yard penalty to give Swain a short field and that was huge. Devils scored five or so plays later
