I typically never or at least hardly ever refer to a regular season game as a "must win game" in any sport, but I agree that this game is huge for a number of reasons.
This game is not only important just from a bowl perspective, but also a fan and program psyche perspective. What a rough few weeks.
BP mentioned it after the Murray St. game last week. The football team wants to give the fans and program something to cheer about and lift them up. Something to that effect.
A loss tonight would be so deflating.

I agree. If you look at the standings, the Wolfpack are 2-0 and we're 1-1. Lose tonight and we drop to1-2 and they go to 3-0 and tied with Clemson.
We can't afford to drop to 1-2. Tonight is a very important game for post season possibilities.
4-2 with an inept defense, an offensive line that is inconsistent, and a head coach who seems 'comfortable' which is never a good thing.

I told the wife B4 I made the original post, honey I hate to say this but Lamar Jackson cannot read defenses or see open receivers and will run on most plays. How can a line block for a quarterback that does not stay in the pocket? And I told her Petrino has lost his age. Well, I am sad to say my vision came true. Right now our football team is not ready for combat.
