I PROMISE you if North wins it all something will be said about their numbers. Hell even when they win the conference something will be said about it. Like i said in a previous post, North is in a lose lose situation in the conference/classification
I have great respect for ND and their program. I think they are aware of the advantages they have for at least the next few years specific to enrollment. They should and I believe they will win the state title.
People need to suck it up and if you want to fuss, fuss to the NCHSAA.....that does NOT have rationale behind 90% of the decisions they make. They put ND in 2A conference and it is what it is. Nothing could be done to change it.
As MP 193 stated North really had no desire to play in 2A. Because of the way North travels(Just ask Scotland how many we took down there a couple years ago)they will for a 4 year period making Davidson County schools a whole lotta dough!! IMO this is purely the reason it played out this way.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe North had around 1600 students on the first day of school.
Not at all critical of ND. On the other hand, in April of 2016, Thomasville had 640. Not sure of ADM currently. That 1000 student difference will show tonight in a big way.
No way it was close to that Number!! Just confirmed the number is 1280.

I was thinking ND would have around 1300 this year, regardless, as I have stated earlier, they did not ask, nor want to be 2A....they are there, and will go with it.
September 2017 ADM from Davidson County schools website:
CD 949, ED 876, LHS 1115, ND 1281, WD 759, OG 490 9/10 grades, and Thomasville 680-700.
Ledford underachieving bad... They're winning but barely beating teams they should light up lol
you can bet they'll play us tough. Have you heard anything about the Ledford coaching situation? I've been told the assault charge was filed by a drunk girlfriend who he was pulling back to breakup a fight!!
Thomasville gets shut out tonight,if Thomasville can only muster 13 points against ED,they sure ain't gonna score against ND...ND scores more than 50,Thomasville losing games they way they do now don't even phase me or hurt my feelings anymore,I just laugh and SMH and think of the good old days at least I have that

Good ole days indeed. I think y'all had to make the scoreboard wider down there to list all the state championships.
Heck, I hope they do. Seems except for maybe them, Salisbury and old rival Lexington there isn't much left to get us ready for playoffs.
I don't delve into gossip in those situations. The guy will go to court and whatever happens I'm sure the Ledford players will be focused on us lol.

Thomasville couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. The coach has close to zero football knowledge; a two year old could make better play calls. It's sad really.
Hard to believe it was just six years ago that Thomasville beat North at their place. But that was light years and one Hall of Fame Coach ago.
The saddest part is that, when Coach Brown retired, we blew a chance to hire a coach with a state championship under his belt. Now, very few accomplished coaches would want the job.

There are actually some really good highlights of that game on youtube, if you want to check it out. Chris Brooks was quarter back I believe. Very good team.
I went to the game. Was impressed with us and saddened by Tville. I have always been a Bulldog after being a Black Knight, always wanted to play for Coach Brown or coach for him.
I think many coaches will still want the job at Thomasville. The powers that be need to make sure they hire a proven coach who has a history of building things from bottom to top.
Like I had mentioned earlier, no one should complain about North in 2a (even though they will), because they are not dominating the CCC in sports.
Ledford is having much more success. 1st in Volleyball, 2nd womens golf, 2nd soccer, 2nd womens tennis, 1st Mens CC and obviously tied in 1st for football currently, in the CCC.
If North is talented in football, they're talented. End of story

Fact is football the most popular and draws the most eyes.
North has had talent before in football and the wrong coach has made it useless. Coach Flynn does a great job in my eyes of getting that talent to come together and play as a unit. There are other teams that can't say the same...
And rolled a team that has now lost 30 consecutive games. They would have beaten them just as bad without him.
