Not to harp on any team, school, etc., but, an in-county school did this a few years back when they ran onto the field before the game. There wasn't much restraining the ND players, thus resulting in flags everywhere and a strange kick off. Result of game was much the same as North proceeded to beat the opponent pretty bad on the scoreboard.

Funny..you didnt win it in 2aa last year..since there is no talent in 2aa....NDavidson...not likely to win it this year. Honestly. Good team though.

Cummings decided to pull a Dudley or Lexington huh? I guess when you're having a bad year you feel the need to do SOMETHING... Bad idea though.
2A as a whole is not as strong as 4A. No arguing that. However, the best 2A teams are definitely able to compete with good (not great) 4A teams. To say 2A is weak is a disservice to schools like Hibriten, Shelby, South Point, Rville and last year's ED team. We were good and they still beat us fair and square.
Winning a title takes more than talent. It takes heart, determination and dare I say a bit of luck as well.
The playoff field is watered down. 2A is not weak at the top. You wanna go back to playing overrated teams like West Forsyth? They lost in the first round to a school they consistently dominate. Now that's weak...
ND fans have no right to be arrogant towards 2A. We haven't won anything yet, save a conference title last year, and that was practically given to us from the beginning.
Let's keep focused. We have SWE to take care of, and then unfinished business...

It’s unfortunate how the system. Swe should give north a decent game still think north will be too much
Maybe I worded it wrong and I did not mean for it to sound like there is no talent. I would like to see more competitive games in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Those West Forsyth teams were much stronger than any team North played this year.
North will never be 4A again in all likelihood. I could see ND, OG and ledford all being 3A though.
They should be. They have 2450 students and open enrollment. It's not a question of talent, it's a question of how good you are on your level and how high do you shoot. WF has nothing on Shelby, Rville or any dominant 2A program from that aspect.
Also, Tabor beat WF this year. Which means we were at least good enough to do the same.
Can you imagine those North teams with the offense they had with McCoy, Butts and company if they played in this conference?
I am still concerned about north's offense when they do play the talented teams.
I agree. If only lol. But those teams, and this one, are the last of an age.
Like in LOTR when the third age ends and the fourth begins, that is this year for ND football.

I haven’t looked at the maxpreps ratings in a couple of weeks, but if I remember correctly, I think north would have been around an 8 seed in the 2AA West. Oh how the tune would be different if we’d have butted heads with Hibriten last night. (Assuming we’d have gotten out of the first round).
Most all of the east conference champs are small 2A. The 3rd seed was a gift.
I’ll say this though, North looked really good last night. That poor QB from Cummings was probably cussing whomever started the logo stomping thing though. He got knocked on his butt more often than not.

It was a very fortunate draw. ND is ranked 14th in the CP poll in 2A, and only 1 of the 13 teams ranked above them is in their bracket, and that's Ledford.
