North Meck @ Richmond

Coached by my former Raider teammate, Eric Morman. Balanced offense, their running back is underrated in Charlotte because there are so many good backs in the county. QB has nice size, but accuracy is an issue. But he can run it as well. Defense is bend, but don’t break. Battle-tested.
North Meck has a scrappy Offense with # 5 Emanuel Wilson, He's a faster version Mcqueen for Scotland. QB is very mobile. Very well coached. I believe these 2 teams are evenly matched. Should be a very interesting game.
Their 3 loses are to Mallard Creek, Vance and Hough so as stated before Battle tested for sure.
It's first round...neither team intends to lose. Obviously We, as in Richmond will have to get back to the team that played 71st... the Scotland game was a big show for the fans..they have a good team ..show up...no mistakes...same offense last 2 weeks..same defense that played 71st and Pinecrest... and Raiders by13...GO RAIDERS.Weve already played 7 or 8 of these playoff teams...lol unreal.
Richmond looses to Wake Forest, Butler, Scotland...I think they are battle tested also....

It’s the visitor side but used to be home so there’s Raiders over there also.

Was there for the Butler and 71st games this year both close maybe that thing they call magic will show up
last week they knew they had to score to stay in it so they came out swinging - tonight maybe not as aggressive - kids man!
Ton of players coming back next season. JV undefeated season, and some size coming up. Hopefully JV success translates. Best of luck to Coach Morman and the Vikings next week at Mallard Creek.
Jack Britt you must have overlooked, went tonight cold weather must have bothered your QB.
1st time seeing Richmond live. They are just to small in the trenches. Emanuel Wilson had to hit 200+ mark rushing. They had no answer for him. Richmonds offense runs different formations, but about 7 different plays. Very vanilla. North Meck figured it out. They also kept shooting themselves in the foot.

He finished with 271 yards rushing. They stop him and they cruise. NM had nothing else on the team offensively.
Think this game illustrates just how much tougher 4aa West is than East.
Richmond beats Pinecrest handily and finishes ahead of them in conf but because of logistics gets sent West. They draw the 4th place Imeck team in North Meck, get them at home and lose. Even if they win the get beat bad next week.
Pinecrest gets to go east and they get something called Athens Drive. They finished 3rd in a awful East conf. Not only does Pinecrest win but they maul them and have a legit chance at winning next week.

Size- Strength- Physicality . If Till is the guy then they need to give him 4 years to build the weight room culture, recruit some size in Rockingham and change the mentality of the program. Richmond will always have athletes and kids that grow up wanting to play ball. Execution wise I assume they get better especially if the Freshman QB sticks around. They can wake up in July and go 8-3 or 7-4 every year. If they want to truly compete with Scotland, Wake Forest, Page or any of a handful of Meck County teams for opportunities to play in regional finals year in and year out they need to simply get bigger and stronger.
Watched a 6 win RJ Reynolds team last night for a half. Scrappy little team with a couple of tough kids but 1-30 they looked like a JV squad compared to nearly all the I Meck teams. Vance didnt play that well and they have some QB issues but up front after about 4 minutes it wasnt a contest. You cant win 3 games in Meck county with 160lb LB's I dont care how well they are coached or how good the scheme is. Kids like Emanual Wilson just run you over.
