If Eastern Randolph is any good, and I assume y'all are, you will win Friday. Wrh should've won and East Duplin opted for two instead of forcing a tie and playing overtime. Don't be fooled by that #2 ranking. Both Clinton and SWE were ranked very high (top 10) in 2019. Northeastern was ranked around 20 and beat both of them bad on the road. The games weren't even close. This Northeastern team is better than the 2019 team.
Rankings have never bothered me one way or the other. I just like to joke about them. As I posted on the “more important” thread I hope it’s a good game, no one gets hurt and ER wins.

I just try and get under people's skin because when I first joined these threads all we ever heard was how over rated we were and how great the teams down south were. It was non stop NE bashing and joking. Now the tables have turned and I'm enjoying poking fun. I keep it clean though and I do have a bunch of friends from Wrh etc.

I'm not as smart as many posters up here and I've always acknowledge that. This is talking Nchsfb now, I just don't have the knowledge that many have. What I can do is think and make judgements for myself based off of what I see. This isn't just in sports, it's in my line of work,news media,etc. I wanted to see just how good Clinton was so I drove 3 hrs to watch in person. I didn't know what to expect but I did know that the polls thought highly of the Dark Horses. I knew Wrh was kind of having a subpar year but I felt like this would be a good game because it's a rivalry and was for the ECC Cship. The game was good and evenly matched but it just wasn't what I expected. I am a loyal,very loyal Northeastern guy who loves our team and coach,who I speak with quite often. That being said I stand by what I've said earlier, Northeastern toughest test aside from Reidsville is Kinston. I see a repeat of last year if Clinton/NE happens. I'm not as confident as Coach Moore that we get by a very talented and dangerous Kinston team that will be trying to get revenge on us. When people think of Northeastern they think of Freshwater,and rightfully so. That kid is special. What they don't know is that we have a rising superstar flying under the radar that is taking heads off, literally!! Fletcher is his name and lined up with him is one of my favorites Quasi Thomas who has missed most of the season. Leading up to the season Quasi ha been in constant contact with Dre Bly. We are loaded on defense and offense and we are peaking at the right time. He may have some @tarheel fan1 but I'm sure him missing most of the season hasn't helped. What I posted about Dre Bly is absolutely true, I saw it for my ownself. His father and I have been close friends since just out of high school. I recently painted his dad's 66 caddy coupe. We are just glad to get him back, he's a game changer. You should check out #51 Jameson Fletcher, he's one of the leaders in the state in tackles in only his first year playing defense. Kid is phenomenal and video of him can be found on Instagram at bumpnc along with our qb and other NE players
