There's a better than decent chance of seeing the northern lights tonight with the prime time looking to be just after dark until around midnight. Some projections have them potentially viewable at the horizon all the way to the coast. Early reports from Europe is a solar storm pegging the needle on intensity. We have all of our cameras pointing north tonight.

I live in freaking upstate New York and I haven't seen a single one of those things. Of course, I am too lazy to drive to the country.

Let's be honest... The Northern lights are really like this.

I "see" them all the time. Camping up north of the 45th parallel right now. Got back from fishing last night and the sunset to the south was way more impressive than the northern lights.

Nothing gets old women in the south more excited than a White Claw and northern lights. They all have learned to use their phone cameras.

We just saw the 100% chance prediction of a the upcoming weekend of 90° plus weather. We're not supposed to see cooler weather until next week... maybe.

Weren't people saying that a camera shows it better than the naked eye? Specifically a phone camera.
A phone camera gathers more light and you can see it better for sure.

Last year we went out to look at it and could barely see it but with a phone it really showed up.

There was some we could see with the naked eye better directly above us that wouldn’t show up on camera.
