although both East Duplin and Northside are not quite as good as they have been some years, they both have good teams. and after watching this game i think the conference will be at least a little more well represented in the playoffs than i previously thought.

the way we played against SWO i wouldnt have seen it coming either. we looked terrible. but we have been jekyl and hyde this year. some games we look bad and some games we look good. when we look bad we play so so at best. when we play good we can at least compete with most 2A teams in the area. i knew Northside was better than they showed in the loss against White Oak. even though we destroyed White Oak. i always figured if both us and Northside both played like we were capable, that this would be a close game. and it turned out to be one of the best games ive ever seen which says a lot as i have seen many many high school football games.

thx dirty stallion and it was indeed action packed. some of the best back and forth football i have ever seen. both teams threw haymakers all night. Northside scored on the last play of the first half to retake the lead. we scored with 9.9 seconds left in the game to retake the lead and ultimately get the win.. that kind of sums up the game.

This was one of the best High School Football games I've ever seen. Hats off to both teams. I was truly sad that one of them had to lose.

agreed EDPanther99. neither team deserved to lose this game. i was hoping for a good game but to say this game exceeded all of my expectations is an understatement.
