Yes sir. Going to have to go with the Granite Bears. Too explosive and physical. Next week should be a good one.
I think ma vs east wilkes will be a good one for 2nd place
Definitely can’t sleep on the Ronda red birds. I know they had a talented group right now and with the transfer they got from WC that should help them quite a bit as was evidenced tonight. That being said way to hard to pick against the Granite Bears, for now.
Ronda Red Birds.have uncharacteristic speed and football instincts in the backfield and WR spots.more so than normal for EW..the coach spreads it out well to them with the playcalling..they will compete with everyone on the schedule..but MA is more than likely in a league of their own in the NWC.
I don't see it even being close between Ronda and Mayberry.
Maybe...Maybe not...but East is much improved..and will compete..they seem like a pretty hard nosed bunch..MA may still be 20pts better..they've been living in East Surry's shadow..and have a lot to prove..they just may take it out on all the teams in the NWC..

Would be nice to see East Wilkes establish themselves as a competitor.
Think East will only struggle with W Central and Mount Airy this season. Possibly winning one or both. I was really hoping West Wilkes turned the corner this season so it’s hard to use that win as a measuring stick currently. East Speed advantage will be negated by Central and Mount Airy. Will be interesting to see how they overcome that matchup.

I think WW will be improved this year, but they are still a few years away from being respectable. I really think WW lost its identity of who they should be. When they are good it’s because they are good upfront and more physical than their opponents, tough hard nosed kids. I think the EW vs WC matchup will be interesting this year. Both appear to be better than they were a year ago.
