We defended very well. DP had 5 FG in the second half. 13 minutes without a FG, and one FG over 16 minutes. They had 18 points in the second half until the very late, meaningless 3.

Boo was off, Ty is back in one of his awful stretches, and won by double digits on the road. Took care of business. Still astounding they couldn’t do so at home a few days back against one of the worst teams on the schedule.

CSU played great. If DePaul had not shot so poorly, we might have been in a similar spot. But, our defense was quite a bit better tonight.

Whew!

Still recovering from the week off after the Purdue game.

But winning ugly is just fine.

offense can be hot or cold ...so hang your hat on the D...no reason that you cant bring the D every time out.

I only saw a few minutes of the CSU game . Did NU play any zone defenses-it seemed like CSU could beat everyone off the dribble. I would have parked Nicholson in the restricted area and challenged every lay up. When he fouled out , Hunger next up.
