I thought this was an article by @lou v . Given who the author is and his lame anti-NU predictions, I won’t waste my time reading it.
same. I've got Mike Fitz on "ignore" for the foreseeable future. LMK when he doesn't predict an NU loss with 10/10 confidence. he doesn't need to be a homer, but 10/10 confidence that we would lose to ISU, OU and RU were just trying to get on our nerves. It worked.
I believe he was 10/10 for ISU and OU too. Rutgers is far more plausible than either of those, they'd actually showed some decent football.
the 10/10 schtick is already old, and I cannot imagine that he will abandon it for the ROY. Given our performance, he's likely gonna be right 7-8 out of 12, but having 10/10 against the three weak teams we beat is just jagging with us.
His picks are one thing, but he is still a reporter and writer who produces a lot of good content for WR. You've got to separate Fitz the Prognosticator vs. Fitz the Reporter. They are very different roles.
Prognosticator? He strikes me as a troll. Likely a Notre Dame fan from the Chicago suburbs who needed to pad his resume with Rivals articles. I will not read any more of his pieces, and am tired of reading “Confidence 10” picks against our Cats.
Go tell him to get a job on another Rivals boards see how long that crap would last on any other B1G fan message board. I guarantee he’d have already been fired from any other Rivals site for the same blatant trolling every week.
Those picks are obviously not meant to be taken seriously, so I don't get worked up about them.
catnap is a troll. He tries to disguise his intentions, although those who pay attention can see through him.
A 10-confidence prediction that NU will lose to Indiana State is so transparently absurd that I see it as a joke. The fact that that's his prediction every week, regardless of opponent, just strikes me as a running gag.
