Those first half 3s were some of the ugliest shots I have seen lately.
But at least we can run the break.

Demps is just hurting us. He has thrown up 3 awful shots in the last few possessions.
Ick. This is some bad basketball tonight. As the announcer said a few minutes back, we are still a really unathletic team. When the spot-up shots aren't dropping, and guys try to drive and make their own shots, things get ugly.
Really a terrible performance in front of a crowd that really wants to believe. Think of the crowds the last 2 nights -- a good team WILL be supported.
But Demps ...... my goodness, maybe he should go back to coming off the bench? Because it's just impossible to play much worse. Maybe that will spark him AND the team.

We look like yet another borderline NIT team. Discouraging loss, as OSU really isn't that good.
Ahhh ... I mean, why are we even worried about NIT or NCAA or whatever team honestly? We've played 3 of at least 19 Big Ten games. There will be more awful games like this one I'm sure, and there will be more encouraging ones.

BRIGHT SIDE -- We got 16 points and 17 rebounds from our 2-headed center. That's pretty amazing. We'd all have signed up for that when Olah went down.
REALLY REALLY AWFUL SIDE -- Demps 3-17, 1 rebound, NO ASSISTS. That's deplorable basketball. McIntosh struggled but at least had 6 assists ..... McIntosh, Demps, Falzon combined 11 for 43.

BMac becomes a turnover machine- Tre regresses- if we cant hit the three we are really dead meat- and we really miss Alex, without him we have no inside-out game and they can closely guard the line against us. Hope Alex comes back in the next game or two- might be the only way to salvage an NIT bid-

we should be in good shape, give it some time. As bad as Demps looked tonight, ive seen him look like that before only to come back strong. Macs 7 or 8 turnovers is the exception. Demps and mac will be solid, and lindsey will find a way to help. looked like our rebounding was fine. Gotta hit more free shots though.
I have noticed that no less than 5 times this game. B Mac wide open. Demps fires up crap instead of passing. Sad.
McIntosh had 5 turnovers. That's high, but it wasn't deadly -- their PG had 6 turnovers. An indication of a sloppy game. At least Mac had 6 assists to balance it out on a day that few shots were going in.
I don't know if we're in good shape or not. I think we're DEFINITELY on the way up and I think next year we'll be really good. I think this year will be up and down -- but I think we'll come back strong and play much better Saturday.
