They beat Iowa and Michigan State. Neither team is great but those are solid wins.
Who have we beaten?

Sure as hell hope I'm wrong. Our program could use this win. We need to make a bowl game.

With all the injuries (which is the norm for Riley teams) and the fact that NW usually wins in Lincoln, I'll say 28-17 Wildcats.

Normally I would say, as per the norm you never know what you are going to get with a Riley team...... We know what we are getting with the Riley team. Soft, no emotion (exept for the final 5 min of Purdue), poor coaching, injuries. So I have a feeling how this will go. We will attempt to run, when that doesn't work we will pass 40+ times. Lee is past due for a pick 6 int. That is what decides it.

NW is riding high after back to back overtime wins. Ultimately I think they play harder than NU. Coach Fitz tends to get a lot out of nothing at NW and with his players. Justin Jackson is one of the best backs in the BIG. IMO he does not get the attention because he goes to NW.

Our defense will bend immensely but not break.
6 new Frost threads during the game
Last second field goal by Brown to keep the handful of Riley followers on cloud 9.

They also beat Maryland on the road, but both wins for Northwestern were in Evanston. Another loss for the Wildcats came at Duke.

The Wildcats appear to be the safe bet, but can the Huskers build off, late, comeback win over Purdue?
