I don't believe your comment is entirely accurate. I had read that NW will use this temp structure, as well as an MLS team stadium, and possibly Wrigley Field and/or Soldier Field, for games. It all depends on whom they are playing and what the other team's travelling fanbase will be. I think for PSU, OSU, Michigan, Iowa and Wisky, they would tend to play in one of the larger stadiums. Yeah, but when a school has one benefactor footing more than half the bill, it doesn't argue too much.
2024 plan is five home games to be played in the temporary facility and two in Wrigley Field. 2025 remains to be seen.
There is no minimum stadium size and NU's new stadium, at 35k, will accommodate 12k fewer than the current version. And most of the project is already paid for.
I grew up in Maine, so had seen cold weather, but my stint in Navy boot camp in N. Chicago (Nov-Jan) showed me what cold was.
