Time to get behind this team. Forget about disappointments of past years. What have we wanted for years? WINS!!! Got a nice streak going now. Give the players and coaches the credit they deserve and support this team. BE LOUD AND PROUD SATURDAY NIGHT. GOBIG BLUE!!!!

Competition aside we have played and looked much better. We even looked better against Bama and if not for Johnsons fumble(s) it is easily a one score game at half. We are heading the right direction, how far stoops can take us remains to be seen but we are finally heading the right direction. Getting Eliot off the sidelines has done wonders for our defense. I blame stoops for it not happening sooner but I credit stoops for finally pulling the trigger.

Win or lost we have to remain competitive though and can ill afford a game against Georgia or UT that even halfway resembles the earlier Florida showing. Get blown out in either of those games and all the feel good momentum will be out the window.

I'll be a believer when UK competes and sometimes wins against ranked teams. Things are definitely looking better the last few weeks but again, the competition hasn't been a murderers row.

Do you remember years ago Ohio U beating us, or more recently WKU, Eastern almost did. Vandy most years...Get outta here with that fools gold. You have to play the games on the schedule, at least we are winning the games we should. Southern Miass is only loss we shouldn't have. Come on man, enjoy the ride, or wallow in "we aren't beating anybdy good". That is your choice, I know what I am going to do

What is our record against the trio of Georgia , Tennessee and Louisville this century? Asking Stoops to do something that hasn't been accomplished very much?

I understand skepticism but cmon, we would lose games like the one we had against Mississippi state. We won. Saturday is huge for us. I'm not going to say the following week is yet because we got to get past the dawgs

Yeah because Boom, Badet, Kemp, Johnson, Pringle, E. Brown, Middleton, J. Jones, Toth, the whole oline,
Ware, Baity, Edwards, etc etc have not done jack ****. Benny did it all, he did not need the line blocking, or Badet and company catching the ball to open the run game, Johnson passing the ball to open up the run game, or none of the defense to get tough stops when needed, a int. or a pick 6. Just throw Benny out there by himself, he is the only one doing anything..

Thank you. I've been a Cats fan longer than, I'd guess, most posters on here have been alive.Fans that expect Stoops to be beating the top level SEC teams in 4 years are just being unrealistic. The guy is building the program the right way. It may take longer to get there, but it will stay there once it gets there. I've been patient a long time. I can wait a while longer and find a lot of enjoyment as progress is being made.

Yes, we have beaten "down" teams that we haven't been able to beat in the past. We have beaten teams on our schedule, what else can we do. We lost to only the teams at the top of each division and played Bama tougher than many other teams. Are we "there" yet, NO, but we have made very positive strives during this streak and I can't think of it as anything but positive right now for our program. If we beat UGA it will be yet another step forward. We still have a ways to go to be considered a top level SEC team who is competitive with the best in the conference but we are moving up, not sideways or backwards and I'm willing to be positive and back the team and staff at this point. Hell, we may even beat UT at their place if they keep spiraling down and falling apart like we've been hearing this week. But, you would probably have an excuse for that too, OP. Just can't make some UK fans happy no matter what we do.

we are dogs in 3 of our last 4,, say we lose those three even though we are competitive and play extremely hard,, how many will jump ship? Stoops will lose a big group that were off ship earlier I fear!

The line this week is insignificant and should we win this week, I figure the line next week will not be more than mid single digit.
