Yes, and SCAR beat UT.....That does NOT translate to us beating UT.....never does! SCAR always plays UT to the wire....the team we beat, beat the team we're playing next week looks good on paper, but rarely translates to the field. I hope I am wrong.....but I don't think we beat UT this year.....
Dude i never said we would beat georgia or the vols.but the person i was responding to was demeaning our wins of because who we had played. So your response is dumb

Remember when people use to say, "I just want to see steady improvement throughout the season."?
For me, that was in year two and three; which obviously was not the case.
Frankly, I'm stunned at the turnaround in team play and attitude.
So far, my crow is tasting very good.
I will have a big heaping second helping if we pull off another SEC win.

I'll be entering my seventh decade in a few months and was a season ticket holder for 30+ years. During that time I've seen a lot of bad football and a little good played by the Wildcats. We had one dominant team under Fran Curci and one good team under Brooks. Some others were average but must battled Vandy for the cellar. We had a gimmicky offense under Mummy but it really was fool's gold mentioned by other posters. This team is winning by having solid line play and basically overpowering teams we normally would struggle against. Our skill players are as good as I've seen us have in a decade. Everything seems to be coming together for us now and there should be optimism for the future. Saturday gives us the opportunity to continue the baby steps toward making a systemic improvement in our overall program. You doubters need to get on the bandwagon and enjoy the ride.

Excellent analysis! I hope you are right. I will always be on the bandwagon for all KY sports programs. However, like yourself, I have followed KY football since the 70's. Coaches come, coaches leave. Forgive me for my doubt about Stoops. I hope he proves me wrong for doubting his coaching ability.
