Not a fair fight tonight...

Without Lindsay, it's a tough matchup for NU. You still have a very good team and will make the tourney. Hopefully Lindsay is back soon and you will be back in business. Don't be surprised when you beat us in Evanston.

Hopefully back soon. You guys played well tonight. Haas and Swanigan are difficult to match up with

Thank you for the words of encouragement. The Cats have to hope that no other players get hurt or sick. I'm wondering who in the Big Ten is going to beat the Boilers if they keep shooting and playing like we saw tonight.

That is one of the differences

IMHO, the more significant differential is absence of 2 of the 'Cats' premier 3-pt scoring threats, Lindsey and Tap. Collins and his team now know how the Who-Zits felt regarding Indy's offensive production limitations due to their inability to call-upon 2 of their more critical offensive weapons due to injury/illness. Tonight, the Who-ZIts really struggled at home when closing-out a very middling, but game State Penn squad who took the contest to 3 OTs.

For real.

Even if the 'Cats were at full relative strength (Tap/Lindsey), I'm not sure they could have hung in with the Boilers tonight. If Purdue keeps up that level of play, they win the conference hands down.

Purdue is usually lights out at Mackey. Very average away from home.

Vic law scoring 1 point didn't help either - he needs to step up
Have to give credit to the guy guarding Vic last night. He was in Vic's grill the entire time. Now, Purdue has a luxury of two shot erasers in the paint, so the perimeter guys were selling out on guarding the 3 point line knowing it didn't matter if they got beat off the dribble.

I'm amazed that Purdue has lost as many games as they have already, including losses to Nebraska and Iowa.
