I just don't see anything she brings to the table. She's not a good host. She's not charming, witty, perspicacious or funny. She used to be eye candy but she's not anymore.
It has nothing to do with her being female either. There are a number of other women who'd be better choices. Laura Rutledge, Erin Andrews... hell, Hannah Storm would do a much better job.

^ Probably didn't hurt Troy Aikman, Kirk Herbstreit, Jesse Palmer or David Carr off the top of my head.
