This is where I am at as well. I will not donate anything, but I will pick and choose which football basketball or wrestling match I to attend. Those are social events, like you said, just like going to any other concert or professional game.

My daughter is a junior, my nephew just enrolled this summer in Smeal and is currently on campus loving it, and my niece starts this Fall. All at University Park and all loving every minute of it. They don't give a shįt about the BOT no different than you didn't give a shít when you attended. Did you ever consider that the BOT when you attended might have been a corrupt bunch of criminals filling thier pockets with your tuition money worse than today's bunch? There's a Helluva lot more eyes on that kind of stuff these days. But hey, we all have the memories of PSU being great then but now get the eff off my lawn. The BOT were choir boys looking out for all of us when we attended? I remember a coach that constantly clash with Old Main.

Do those kids, or any student at PSU, realize that the University has been running an operating deficit for 2-3 years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future? Do they realize that this is unsustainable? Of course not. So while they're having fun someone has to be an adult or fun dies.
When my daughter visits your house for physical therapy with a PSU degree to wipe your *** tell her this.

Same here. We go up to meet with friends and family who live in Philly. I have two boys about ready to head to college. Going to PSU just isn’t a priority anymore.
