Not able to post in threads? Subscription ad blocking screen?

Some popup about subscribing to ON3/The Athletic is popping up at the bottom of the screen and doesn't allow me to post in existing threads. doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of it. But I can post a newthread so

I guess I'll just have to post a new thread for every thought I have (maybe not all that much of a change then, I guess!).

I clicked on it and an error message came up and now everything is back to normal .

could just be coincidental timing though and they fixed the issue

I'm not gonna lie, it was a rough 20-30 minutes last night. Real touch and go. But I persevered.

Ha. Yeah, I checked in, started a similar thread, then came back and checked an hour later. Whatever it was got fixed.
