Not since 2007 has UK had a 1000 yd running back. That year Raphael Little rushed for 1013 yds. This year it looks like almost a sure thing that we will have 2 of them. Boom is currently sitting at 898 and Benny with 775. Assuming both stay healthy and that we beat AP we they only need to average 25.5 and 56.25 yds per game to achieve that goal.

Nice stat but since we have morphed into a run heavy offense, this isn't too surprising especially since the 3rd back has been injured a lot. 2007 we had Andre Woodson throwing to 3 future NFL receivers.
I think it is impressive personally because teams know we have to be successful running or else we have little to no shot at winning and yet we still are able to effectively run the ball.
