Stayed up to watch the big win last night. Pretty pumped this morning after watching the boys play a really good game. Get to work and check ESPN, the game is nowhere in the top stories bar. This would make sense if it was a huge sports night or something, but that wasn't the case.

I wonder if MSU had won if that story wouldve made it? Something like "MSU knocks off Devils; Izzo's Second straight over Coach K."

To be fair all the ACC/BT challenge games were covered down below in one section, but still I just wondered if Duke losing would have changed things.

I agree.

On a somewhat related note, what's with all the empty seats in the arena last night?? Duke is in town at MSU. How does that alone not fill an arena???

Did sarcasm fly over my head here?

Not sarcastic at all. Thanks to the stellar camera angles (thank you ESPN) I got to see a lot of the arena. There were a ton of empty seats that I saw. Maybe I only noticed it in the second half when we were up 20+ but it was pretty clear.

EDIT - Yeah, I'll retract my initial comment, sorry about that. I just went back and took a peak, in my mind I was recalling stadium shots very late in the game, my bad. :(

That’s a fair point MPM.
I guess I’m not really complaining that we weren’t covered, just saying that had we lost I feel like it would’ve been a top story. Even though either team could’ve lost that game going in, ESPN might have made a bigger deal out of a Duke loss. But maybe not...

Weird angles, split screen interviews, split screen staring at a player, coach, or parent...I really hate espn. Wish all games would broadcast on fox sports and cbs.
