But what have we seen from him so far? Not much. If we hired him we would still be onboarding a coach on the learning curve. Let him make the mistakes he has to make in Milwaukee. Let him learn. And, most of all, let him show he can build a competitive team. Which, so far, he hasn't.
If we needed a coach immediately, different story. Look no further than Milwaukee losing the coach PBS replaced: Lavall Jordan. Butler needed a coach, they gambled on a good cultural fit with a former alum. He was a 11-24 (4-14) at Milwaukee, but had only one season there.

Its over JohnnyDude, nobody is aggravating themselves other than a couple or 3 people who love the brutality. It's time to think about 2022 and flush the seasons before that. Let's see what happens in 2022, that's our hope at least. If Collins can't win the Big with 2 of the top 8 prospects then the problem is him. But even if he remains an awful hot headed emotional coach that panics when there are 5 minutes left in the game, he still should be able to get us into the NCAA's in 2023. At any rate, better years to come.
