A lot of football fans are salty about Hughes because of the whole Lenti debacle, but he’s made some amazing transformations at MC over the last few years!
The renovations look amazing! The first floor with the removed lockers replaced with trophies and big LED screens looks outstanding!
MC is in a good spot pointed towards the future!

Agreed. I think part of that is Hughes being a corporate guy, where it’s normal for even the most storied executives to get fired and it’s no big deal. Its cut throat. It’s not the same in a high school. It was a mess! (Frank is part to blame also for still crying about it in interviews, instead of leaving with class).
Happy with how it turned out! Lynch has 70+ freshman out for football!
It's an amazing transformation. Been thru there last 5 years and really a completely different school.
Outside of a personal issue, coach wasnt gonna be leaving on his own. Brother and son staying shows it was right decision.
While they'd always be successful running the option cause they're carmel, among other reasons they were starting to lose kids because everyone else is running the spread.
One big difference is lynch does alot of the recruiting and visits. He goes to bball tournaments, parks during baseball season, etc.
While Frank still made his way out, he was not the face of recruiting for awhile. Granted he did call me in 1987, haha. While he earned the right to not work 24/7 I do think parents and kids nowadays are very weird when it comes to keeping tabs on who is calling and how often.
Now after couple years of this new offense, showing they're gonna throw the ball more than 8 times a game. They'll start to get their share of quality wr coming in.
