It's amazing how much better a QB and WR can look when the QB throws both a pass AND a spiral that his WR's can catch....

They definitely catch the ball with Drew.

Very impressive coming cold.

Hopefully the team stays excited.

Towles would not have thrown that first pass to Badet because of the pressure. Drew hung in there and took the lick.

Barker may ultimately do well. Today was not the day for him to play, but our coaches make bad decision after bad decision.

But if they didn't make the decision most would be saying that it was a bad decision to not make the other bad decision. I agree this wasn't the easiest situation to bring in a qb, but recieves weren't wanting to play for towles and couldn't catch a wave in the ocean.

I don't think receivers never stop wanting to play sometimes the pressure might get to them but you're overthinking.

Did you not see the two drops one our first drive? The whiff on the screen play our next drive? No effort whatso ever to fight for two throws in the endzone?

What game are you watching? We are down 11, and Barker has made a bunch of poor throws and reads. A lot of people were so sure Towles was the problem that they are delusional about everything else on the field.

Poor throws and reads cause crap to happen. I have nothing against Barker, hope he is successful. But this is a hell of a time to break in a new quarterback. Stoops could quickly live to regret this.

I understand where you are coming from but Drew had to play. It's also allows fans to see that we are suffering in a lot of areas not just QB.

Drew had to play? Why? Do you see any improvement? He has thrown this game away. Towles back in now.

that was written at the end of Barker's first series, when in 5 plays, we went down the field and scored. Receivers were catching passes, and the QB wasn't flushing out of the pocket.

Looks like you're so delusional about Towles that you can't accept the team's better when he's out of the game.
