It's been a good game but it looked like Tori Hunter Jr got targeted in the end zone and they didn't call it or check it on replay. They killed that kid helmet to helmet.

Game is currently underway 8 miles from our place at DKR. All I can say is Charlie Strong really needs to win this one.

"The Eyes of Texas are upon you."

Ha ha, great win, Horns. Charlie really needed this one and he got it.

2 solid programs. Good players not giving up. Big plays, good coaching. All things we lack.

And any day ND loses is a good day.

Excellent game. Never liked Texas, but I like Notre Dame less. Good win for Strong, as his team is clearly much improved.

Not targeting

LOL.

A huge missed call, and probably the difference in the winner. Classic example of helmet to helmet on a defenseless player,, and the guideline for officials is if there is some doubt, call it.

And tell me how much ND won by, but then they probably should have won considering the comeback they mounted..

It wasn't targeting. It was helmet to helmet but it was incidental. It wasn't a cheap shot. If a hit like that is targeting than every run play should be a penalty, because the running back got hit on his helmet.

His head made contact first as I saw it. If that's not targeting, what is?

This has certainly been one terrific game to watch!

I was at the game -- still debating if I'll ever get out of bed in Austin this morning. Amazing game and atmosphere.

Pretty great cure for yesterday's UK football hangover. Now to tend to my actual hangover ...

I've said for years UK football is definitely the kind of program that can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Up 35-7 I'd say that's exactly what we did last Saturday. Losing programs find a way to lose just like winning ones find a way to win.
