Aunts house watching what I thought was just a regular game, I didn't know there would be historical implications. I might have the games mixed up but I remember a small skirmish on the field just before halftime, pushing and shoving amongst those playing at the buzzer

Ballin’ out as a husky sixth grader at a local Lexington elementary school. Had a fine piece on my arm (who turned out to be a major ***** in high school) and a dream in my eye.

I was starting a new career in Washington DC from which I've since retired and moved to a related field. Hadn't even met the woman I've been married to 21 years.

How long ago was it? Indiana has won a basketball championship more recently! And Louisville won its most recent championship in hoops earlier that year!

Just started my freshman year of high school.

The bottom fact in that tweet says Tim Tebow was 9 months away from being born. So he pretty much was conceived after our win. That basically means he is really the Antichrist and his conception would lead to our downfall against the Gators. Probably part of a prophecy that would later lead to the Antichrist playing for the Gators.

Taylor Wyndham tried to exorcise the Devil out of him, but was unsuccessful. I'm afraid the only way to end the streak is for someone to sacrifice Tim Tebow and end the cycle. Of course this is all in jest and I don't think we should sacrifice Tim Tebow (unless it would really end the streak). :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don't know which loss was more frustrating. The one where Florida got away with the play clock being expired to tie it in OT or watching UK blow a 21-3 4th quarter lead back in 2003.

Siting in the upper deck of the press box side of CWS. I remember it being COLD! I was also a sophomore at St. X.

That Florida win was the annual "We finally won a close game against a good team!!" moment that would come after losing 5 of them in prior weeks in seasons 1985-89 of the Claiborne era.

I should have been a UK freshman at that game. I met a girl a year younger than myself the weekend after HS graduation and didn't want to leave her. Spent a year bagging groceries in Paducah by day and selling Levis and bad 80's clothing at County Seat in the mall by night.

We both attended UK the next year.

The year off was worth it because we broke up after 3 years and I got in at the basement level of witnessing our losing streak to UF.
