I was wrong last year, but this year it is a fact. I guess it had to end at some point. We just havent been prepared to play in any game this season except maybe Stagg.
Do you think this is Ivlow's last year? I've heard rumblings that it might be. I know his son is a senior this year.I was wrong last year, but this year it is a fact. I guess it had to end at some point. We just havent been prepared to play in any game this season except maybe Stagg.

As far as I know, JCA has not won a game on the field on the varsity, soph or frosh levels (not counting the one JV game). The only "win" I'm aware of....is a forfeit win against MCC on the soph level. You think you've got it bad? Not only is my teams playoff streak over, they have yet to win a game!!!
Wow, that is rough. We've been told this would be a down year could it be several? How many Sophs are playing up? same for Frosh? tough to win lower level games when classes best players are playing upAs far as I know, JCA has not won a game on the field on the varsity, soph or frosh levels (not counting the one JV game). Bones - I'll go on a limb and say there's a chance. CPS strikes and Brook will easily have the highest playoff points of any 4-5 school.
12 sophs playing on varsity and 6 frosh on sophs. They will be fine. I feel that they will make playoffs next year and be really good on 2018. Just a really bad senior class. Only four seniors start.Wow, that is rough. We've been told this would be a down year could it be several? And a Jr. class that is talent-challenged. And a frosh class that does not appear strong. They have one good football class in the school (the sophs.). They are the anomaly. One of the many concerns I would have is they are now breeding a culture of losing. It's all each of the levels knows this year. You may see more of the lower level kids stop playing, due to all of the losing. You may see more kids transfer etc. etc. Lower level results can be misleading and should not be sought at the expense of player development. However, you also don't want to consistently lose on the lower levels.12 sophs playing on varsity and 6 frosh on sophs. They will be fine. These are no slouch teams that have taken down the 'Brook, plus the win over Lockport stands as a major credit. In addition, LWC came into town last Friday with their quick-get-off 240-lbs fullback back on the field. Throw in a very involved LWC offense with frequent motions either down the line or arcing behind the QB plus a heavy dose of unbalanced, end-over and "chicken splits" of the TE and a preparation nightmare exists. LWC skill kids had a few 6-foot plus and 200-lb plus bodies which compounded the difficulty. Finally, the Raiders showed a lot of "pluck" coming back from the successful LWC onside kick to open the 2nd half to have a great 3rd quarter.I was wrong last year, but this year it is a fact.
