There never was loyalty in the past. They were just stuck due to the rules. I lived with some football players who were in their mind "underutilized" by Nehlan. They hated it and wished they could transfer out. One of them did to a 1-AA and was an all american.

It is what it is, however these kids want to play ball and have an impact. The ones that aren't, should be allowed to transfer. Yes, the NIL as you mentioned does create a different dynamic and needs to be reeled in somehow. Not sure the answer there.

It's everywhere. My daughter is an athlete and we just went on a visit to a power 5 and every player will be getting an NIL of 10k per year minimum.
They would be better off if schools paid a salary.

Bucky Wucky makes a few good points. Kneel Clown losses his best recruits quicker than he can sign them. Wvu isn't a destination so the impact is bigger. NIL combined with this staff's incompetence overlaid with the state's tiny impact in media and resources is killing the program. You can huff and puff all you want but wvu us firmly mediocre...at best.
Bucky is Neal's illegitimate child.

This is at least the second year players left and threw Neal under the bus on their way out. They dont like playing for him. Whatever he sells them while recruiting them, he isnt living up to once they get here. Not too mention, he is just bland, boring and lame, and cannot make a good in-game decision to save his team.

We lost 20 players to the portal last season, or was it 21? That was one of the most in the nation. This is an embarrassment to WVU football. Neal Brown needs to get his *** out of Morgantown and take his pathetic, woke, player-led fantasy with him. He is the worst coach WVU has ever had.
I don't know where you people get your numbers.

No one likes losing. Kneel is a loser.

There were key players yes. But everybody loses them. Many on your list were 5th year seniors. Majority were recruited by another coach. Some of those listed transfered the year before. Didn't Martin get the DC fired? You know, that VIC guy. People were praying Doege would leave. He couldn't even make it at WKU.

How many went to others schools and became productive? Two or three?

This is college football now so get use to it. Productive players are leaving the SEC teams as well. It's not just WVU.

This is about how many players left WVU, not about where they went or your opinion of them. The answer is 20 transfers and 3 quit altogether, so 23 total gone, and it was one of the highest in the nation last season. You asked "where you people get your numbers" so have your answer. Everyone knows we are going to lose players every year now. It will probably turn into a total shitshow for all of college football, but the fact remains, WVU lost 20 to the portal last season and 3 quit altogether. A few have spoken out about how the WVU football program has issues under Brown. I believe them.

That would be wrong as Arkansas and LSU had the highest and WVU was highest in Big 12. You can call it **** show all you want but I cheer for WVU. And they will still get my support.

I am not one to questions peoples fandom. My opinion is if you are taking the time to frequent a WVU message board on the internet, you're a real fan. I cheer for WVU every game no matter what. I just backed off going to games or investing money until Brown is gone. WVU is my only team.

Awhile back a former player wrote an article in which he stated matter of factly several players under Brown were not happy with his coaching style and this was a major reason for departures. As you guessed the board trolls summarily dismissed the comments, attacked both those who posted the information as well as the source of the information including current and former players. Then they had the post removed from the board so no one could read it.

it’s not that people don’t know what’s happened to WVU football, it’s that some are trying to hide that for some reason to hold onto Brown while he takes WVU down.

You can root for WVU and recognize that we are stuck with a **** show right now. Those two things actively coexist for me right now. Unfortunately it's as plain as the nose on your face.

I love the old adage that the team will take on the attitude of its coach. That attitude starts in practice.

What do you think his practices look like? He probably has break out sessions for finger painting and CRT training.

Idiotic.!
Lay the blame at the WRs themselves. They have perpetually abandoned the team . Each year we have lost the core or entire room. Shame on such ego centric, non committed unreliable disappointments. How can you or anyone else say NB has failed to DEVELOP WRs? Can't develop someone unwilling to spend adequate time to be xdedveloped. NB is the victim here and not these snot nosed brats. You and the rest of your belly aching buddies need to apologize to NB and offer condolences for our actions and the pitiful group in whom he has placed unwarranted confidence. Cannot BUILD a team when each year the foundation is destroyed (from within).
I am truly gratified that I do not know you. Would hate to ever think I had struck up a friendship with one such as you. Good Bye. Another to the IGNORE file.

You're starting to simp for Brown as hard as Bucky is for Holgorsen.

Reason Bucky didn't list this story is, everyone knows they guy is a fraud writer and Bucky pretends everyone is trolls when he himself is proven wrong. If Bucky would cut out his false accusation and names people might listen to him.

Your post and claims above are so far off base it's not even funny anymore.

Dont worry- trollAllen will just pretend he never saw this then ask the same question in awhile and claim you refuse to answer it. All the trolls pretend they don’t know how to use Google when it suits their agenda.

Once again Bucky can't help himself but to put down the university and the fans. Then make **** that is not there. Typical..

Allen loves the "everybody is doing it mom" excuse. He can't stop thinking like a middle schooler lol.
Agree, very immature. Also seems to think that whatever he thinks is law like a child. Throws tantrums when people disagree- especially when they blow up his idiocy with facts.

And numerous of those desiring to be called WVU fans are, in truth, well BELOW the ‘mediocre’ standard.

Hilarious. This coming from the guy that curses people and throws out false claims towards others. Bucky is actually Roots alter ego. You may continue with your insults and lies now.

Can you ever post a reply without sounding like a back water rube with a middle school education? Beginning to think your knowledge of any sport could fit on the head of a pin...with room to spare. As much as I disagree with, and have distain for, Bucky Wucky occasionally makes a valid point. You former Caped one continue to just huff and puff...and drool.
