NPC Week 5 Predictions

Davie/ND : This should be a great game. Davie beat Oak Grove by 1 let see if they can get a streak going. ND is good but idk if they are as strong as Oak Grove.

Reagan @ LN: QB Dual. Reagan is a interesting team as they have quality wins but interesting losses; LN will be hungry for a win but I feel Reagan maybe too much for them esp coming off a big loss to Indy for the wildcats but should be another great one.

PLP @ NI: While I would love to see NI get their 1st win; I think PLP will win this game in the trenches because they have some decent linemen and they have a good QB in Bo Macy who held the QB duties for the first time ever in his football career and did well. Only way PLP loses this game is turnovers and NI takes advantage of those because NI prob does have more skill positions weapons.

Mooresville @ EF; while I would love to take Mooresville here ; Mooresville slightly banged up and that could play a role in this game, I don’t think EF is as good nor the better team but Injuries can always affect a team so I would love Mooresville to get the win but hard to win on the road esp in Winston Salem.

South @ AC: both teams have struggled! Both teams have decent talent. I like AC bc less distractions and AC played Statesville close and if they clean up the turnovers as well could help them get a win. South has more speed tho but AC will try limit South’s Possessions. This game could be either close or someone pulls away late

Statesville @ West Stokes: West Stokes has struggled this yr esp with their best player being out for the year (I Believe) and they have only a few cats that are giving them production - If Statesville stays out of their own way - this one will be over early!

I may wrong, but I don’t see a big point spread. Well I will guarantee that somebody in Orange and Black will win.

North Davidson always gets pounded by Davie, and I see it happening again this year. Oak Grove is a much stronger opponent than North Davidson, and North Davidson has had a cakewalk schedule so far. They only beat Lexington by 3 and lost to Central Davidson. This will be a one-sided game in my eyes, and if it is not, Davie will come away with a hard-fought win either way, but if somebody has another side they see it in, I would love to be informed.

In JVs Eaat Forsyth is 3-0 and averaging 39 points a game and yet to be scored on. Will be interesting to see how they play against Mooresville this evening.

So apparently South Iredell scored 36 unanswered points in the 4th to pull out a 48-44 win over Alexander Central. Good reason to throw out the 35 point mercy rule. I like to see that back to 42 again.
