You know, NU turned in a half like that against DePaul. It's just DePaul, we thought. But tonight. Wow.

The Cats have FIVE guys with at least 5 points, led by Lindsey, Lumpkin and Taphorn with 8 apiece. Dayton's Charles Cooke, who averages 20 ppg, has ONE at the half. Dayton is 4-for-28 from the floor, and it ain't because they're off tonight -- NU is playing ferocious defense.

Why exhaust yourself and not play the second string. The Second string are BB players too.

Dayton is getting hot from 3. After watching the DePaul and Chicago State games, I gotta admit I'm getting a little nervous. Though I usually feel like that, regardless.

Dayton is expending a ton of energy here. If we can keep up the D and rebounding and keep a 14+ point lead, they will tire out and we'll stretch things back out.

We're in the midst of the Dayton run. Uncontested threes. Best to just cut this off right now.

And there's a botched inbounds and a foul on a three. Ugh.

NU's offense is completely out of synch. Scoochie is giving BMac fits and everyone else is standing around.

I don't understand why we can't make an adjustment to their defense. We are playing so passive.
