How does he look as a player? Haven’t been able to see and videos on him. And glad to see our walk on program is indeed up and going and just fine.

Good. Hopefully he will be a player. Does he have any FBS or FCS offers? Also why the "preferred" walk-on designation now? Wisky doesn't give that designation until much later.

Because, as I said in another thread, that NU is trying to secure their walk on class earlier in order to try to get them before they commit to another school.
I like that they are getting them earlier. My question is why not just designate walk-on at this point. For example, Wisky makes it known that they will designate the "preferred" label after all walk-ons are known.

I may have misspoke. I'm not sure if he is a preferred walk on or just a walk on at this point. I may have gotten ahead of myself. I edited the title.

There is no real definition of a preferred walk on. Other than they are “guaranteed” a spot on the team. While most preferred walk ons get a spot on the 105 man roster there is no rule that says they have to.

My understanding is that the definition is really defined by each school. So a preferred walk on at Wisconsin may mean something totally different than a preferred walk on at Alabama.

Yeah, I'm not sure either as it really doesn't say in the article on RSS.

Preferred, in most places, is getting a 105 roster spot that means you get to start practice earlier. Others have to wait for school to start...at least that is what I was told.
