Sadly, Akron is a better basketball program than NU. Usually contend with Kent State for the MAC title, have been to 4 NCAA tournaments in a 1-bid league. Hope Collins can pry him away from Groce.

I still remember this insult from former Akron coach Keith Dambrot after we beat them in the NIT: "You just have to look at the teams - our team is build like a high-major, physically, and they're built more like a mid-major."
