SPECIAL teams improved-No big mistakes
Offense Slightly improved
Defense worse.

Gonna be another long season.

Meh, they had trouble stopping Cincy’s run and no huddle. The secondary is better and the pass rush was disruptive.

I didn’t like the play calling. But we won a game where we got kicked in the nuts. That’s actually a tremendous victory on top of our victory

Cinci had the matchup they wanted and went for the win. Their QB has been trying to take advantage of Hartzog all night. We finally made a play. We had ZERO pass rush tonight. None. Hopefully Cinci’s O line is better than some of us thought. Their QB is good.

that’s an improvement in the program! And got us the win tonight! Spent a decade failing in games like this, not getting breaks and having turnovers.

This game was far closer than I thought it would be. Is Cincinnati better than I thought or are we just not really any better than previous years? Time will tell. In that sense I don't think this game tells us very much. Although it does show that we had enough grit to win a close game that went down to the wire.

We made a lot of same stupid mistakes all night that always costs us games but still found a way to win this time. I was fully prepared to go to OT until that interceptio.
