Boo Buie and Miller Kopp provided a late surge to get it in striking distance.
Nance with 2 points 2 fouls and 1 rebound. Not good.

Beran tweaked a knee this week in practice, so I think they're being careful with him.

Went up 44-41 on a Buie 3, then the wheels just came off.

- Gave up a coast-to-coast layup
- Buie tried too hard to do the same, turnover
- Spencer got called for a carry (which was probably valid)

The only good thing is NU actually has a big foul advantage. Will be in the bonus next OSU foul.

Why do other team's players get season highs against us? Ahrens is killing us with his 3 pointers.

How was that not a foul?!!!
The refs suck. When they call NU games, they just "assume" things. Like every time a Merry Land player has the ball, they assume that an NU player must have fouled him. And here we see their assumption when a wildcat player has the ball.

Wish Nance could make his free throws.

Ryan Young and Pat Spencer willing things into existence on offense here with the jumpers not falling.

Can we actually get a break between every possible injury known to man and having a 6th man against us which are the refs. Geez.

I think we should have started posting Spencer on Carton.
As others have said, Kopp creates fewer of his own shots and needs to get them out of a good offense that moves the ball and runs people off screens.

Man their 3s are killing us...

They’ve been switching on screens all night. Experienced teams, coaches and point guards look for the mismatches they create. We don’t.

Hidden turnovers killed us. Those hero-ball shots and weak drives leading to low-percentage shots resulted in empty possessions we couldn’t afford to waste.

This might be Boo’s worst game so far.

We definitely could have won this game, very disappointing.

Turner not grabbing an offensive rebound leading to an open 3 was perfectly emblematic. We need so many tough things to go right ... and we flub a lot of the easy things

Teams get what Buie is about now. And he’s still shaking off the rust.

He and Spencer combined for 8 turnovers. Can’t have that.
