I think bitching about the linemen downfield was an after the matter effect of needing a timeout to sub and set the defense.
He was challenging whether Nico was past the LOS when he released the ball. A lineman downfield can’t be challenged.

He wasn’t challenging IMO. He was just bitching so they would watch the downfield ineligible closer.

Emmett now has 1132 yards and 204 carries which that leads the nation and 36 receptions for 300 yards on the year. Just imagine how many yards he would have now if they woulda concentrated on running him from 1st game. I'm saying maybe 1500-1600 yards by now. Emmett woulda had a lot more yards, both rushing and receiving had he been used properly this year. Emmet does however lead the nation in combined total yards from scrimmage in both rushing and receiving.

The Cook kid from Jacksonville State had 127 yards today putting him at 1181 yards. Still, he’s in 2nd and tops in the power 4!

I just saw that, I don't even count that dude as he plays in weak conference. That kid wouldn't get the yards he has playing in this conference. He ain't better than Emmett. Cook can't catch passes for crap. He had 2 receptions for -6 yards today.

What a fun game. Offense….. TJ and EJ looked great early. Defense had me stressed late. The then the O put them away with a methodical drive. EJ is a stud and TJ just looked like he was having fun.

My grandma could get 100 yards at jacksonville st. Only conferences that matter are big 10 and sec.

Earlier in the game Nico was across the line of scrimmage when he threw the ball thankfully it was a incomplete pass

I think the coaches wanted to limit his touches earlier this season because he’s basically the only option. Plus using him more in earlier games would’ve exposed him to possible injury.

Good thing he seems to be peaking now.

Has Ives been injured or in the doghouse or both? I thought he would have been a good backup

I never said otherwise. But saying the challenge didn’t cost NU in the end is quite different than pretending it didn’t happen. Someone up in the booth effed up on a call that wasn’t close.
Coach Rhule can text me if he wants. I get the call right

Did Cam Lenhardt play against UCLA? If he did, he didn't make a single tackle according to the stat sheet. He had only one assisted tackle against USC. He's been very underwhelming.
He’s definitely a physical specimen but has never lived up to his potential, he was suited up last night he was stranding by a coach
