It's too late, the damage is done. He needs to step down and these matters need to go to an independent prosecutor.

"He's not the President's lawyer and he betrayed the independence that our committee must show at such a trying time in our nation's history," the California congressman told Cuomo. "And this is all the more reason that we need an independent commission to get to the bottom of this."
"This cannot be conducted in Congress in the impartial, independent way that the American people are expecting."

If he apologize good for him. I thought he should have told Schiff before he briefed the President. However, Schiff has stiffed Nunes before by claiming he had evidence of collusion beyond circumstantial. The sharing must go both ways.

The information Nunes provided had zero to do with Russia. The President has a right, even a duty to know.

No need for independent commission. The intel committees in both houses can do the job.

Prosecuting Attorneys do not share investigation results with suspects during the investigation.

Many Republicans disagree; they are even calling for Nunes to step down from his position as head of the committee.

He absolutely must step down. It's obvious that he doesn't understand how the committee operates. Boot him.

Lol, this really screws Trump, and also Nunes refused to say whether it was the president who provided the intel, lol. WVPATX is going to be a pretzel before his contortions stop while defending these Bozos.

There is NO investigation of Trump outside of some of his associates and Russia. THIS HAD ZERO TO DO WITH RUSSIA, THUS ZERO TO DO WITH THAT INVESTIGATION. This is not hard for you to understand is it? If so, the problem lies within your thinking.

The President has every right to know if (outside the Russian investigation) his transition team and possibly himself were subject to surveillance.

Trump is not a suspect in the investigation. I keep remembering some idiot running around the board last week parroting the phrase "words have meaning." Were you lying then or are you lying now?

You don't have a clue what the intel said so to claim "THIS HAD ZERO TO DO WITH RUSSIA" is just another bald faced lie from a Trump *** kisser. Common sense say's if it had "ZERO TO DO WITH RUSSIA", it wouldn't have came to the committee in the first place. It has been claimed as "incidental" intel. Incidental doesn't mean "ZERO". If you don't understand a word then look it up. Nunes took the intel to the WH without committee approval... all by his lonesome self. That's not how an investigation by a committee works. A bi-partisan committee's entire purpose is to work as a team. For the chair of a bi-partisan committee to take their intel secretly to the subject being investigated - before the committee even sees it - is as shady as it gets. People like you who make up lies to defend and cover for it not only look like imbeciles, you are imbeciles... and shady ones at that.

Nunes said categorically that it had zero to do with Russia. The intelligence will be shared with the committee. If it did have something to do with Russia, we will soon hear. I trust Nunes statement that Russia was not involved in his briefing of Trump. No reason to lie since he knows he will be caught when that intelligence is presented in committee.

Team Trump have lied and lied and lied over again... there's probably a Trump minion right now telling an obvious lie to a TV camera somewhere. Your "trust" is more than questionable, it's laughable.

Nunes is head of the House Committee on Intelligence. He, by now, has shared that intel with Schiff. If he lied and Russia was involved, you will hear very, very soon.

Russia was not involved, but keep hoping. But you will be severely disappointed.
