I'm very disappointed in the Yankees. I just read what every team in the AL East has done this off season. All the teams vastly improved themselves with great trades and signees. EXCEPT for the Yankees.
They did but not heavily. Didn't feel like they had a chance for him. Didn't want to give him the money the Mets did.Why didn't the Yankees go after Bo Bichette?
I would've paid him what he wanted. Dude's a winner, and still young. They did but not heavily. Didn't feel like they had a chance for him. Didn't want to give him the money the Mets did.
He has the talent for it but that would be an MVP season which his performance has never reached.Jazz talking big. Aiming for a 50-50 season. If he were to pull that off and everyone else plays their normal seasons we win the WS.
Problem with Jazz is he can't stay healthy. Volpe will miss the first month and I hope he doesn't put pressure on himself coming back late trying to do to much. I think a healthy Volpe will be fine. Lot of ifs on this team but we are due a season (or 3 or 3) without so many key injures. It's been a broken record for years now.Jazz hitting 50 homers would be incredible. Jazz trying to hit 50 homers is probably a receipt for disaster.
Imagine that!!Stanton having trouble with his elbows. smh
Yeah, ridiculous the amount of money they have put into him for a 2 to 3 week impressive streak during the season.Imagine that!!
This is one thing the Yanks minor league system has been doing a great job of for a while....finding guys with mechanical glitches or untapped upside and unlocking the problems resulting in big boosts in velocityGot some nice, unexpected, live arms showing up in the minors. Maybe the future is not so gloom in the pitching department.

He DOES provide a cushion for Judge.Thing is, Yanks struggle mightily when he is out of the lineup.
