Looking for a dinner recommendation.

Thought I saw something on one of the boards about a WVU grad with a restaurant in Brooklyn (Hopeland). I called them and they don't know what I"m talking about. Anyone else have any recollection of this?

So I'm looking for a good place to eat while we're there for the Brooklyn Classic. Plus, I'm not looking for Italian which is what Hopeland is. (I'd go there for a fellow cbe grad, but not otherwise.) I love Italian and ate at a great place a couple of blocks off Times Square last time I was there, but I live in Bridgeport and get really good Italian all the time.

+1 on Peter Luger. Try the creamed spinach. That's something I would not normally eat but it was fantastic.

Hopeland did have a WVU grad as the head chef but he was let go. He now works at the Gramercy Park Hotel.
