Yep, we don't play inside-out, we don't drive and dish, and we don't play five out and let it fly. We can really score once we're down 20 and the pressure is off, though.

It’s like we never watched Alabama play.

Even though we played an Alabama wannabe 11 days ago.

Couldn’t guard them either.

But it was Christmas. 🎅 😁

Went from having a great combo of pass bigs last year to having none this year.

JQ has some passing ability but has yet had the chance to do it. Wonder if we will see him in similar roles in the offense as Amari last year as the season progresses.

Oats being pretty frank and damning while seemingly trying to somewhat pull his punches. I believe that Pope wants to play like Oats - not the same manner, but the same offensive goal - but didn't construct a team to do it. Oats knows his frontcourt is a weakness, but UK didn't plan or execute to take advantage of that and Oats is acknowledging that failure.

I like this reply to that tweet, lol. That haggard drunk POS will never sniff this job........and he knows it, which is why he removed himself from consideration so fast. :ROFLMAO:

I guess everyone has forgotten that Oats let a kid continue to play that provided a weapon that killed someone.

Still way better than Lil Pope.

I’ve seen this issue since day 1. The only game they truly moved the ball around was against Purdue. Since then they have played like a Cal team. They just stand around waiting for someone to do something. Barkley has seen it and Oates does too.

It makes no sense. They played better before practice than they do now.

UK ball movement is poor. Still the all encompassing problem this team has is it CANT SHOOT THE ThREE. IMO Pope should start Lowe, JQ, Oweh, Mo and Williams and force it inside whenever possible Aberdeen and Chandler are giving us nothing, also when you are shooting as poorly as we did tonight you have to let Johnson take a few shots. to see if he might get hot.

Our ball movement is poor because our player movement is poor.

I don’t think this will ever be a good shooting team but it would be far better if catch and shooting in flow off a screen.

Maybe we wouldn’t? But at least give it a try. Nothing else is working.

And if that’s planned the others know a shot is going up and can crash the boards.
