There is another story involving race that the media is not reporting and I'm glad because its implications for racial politics in this country will have far reaching impact for many many years.
The story is something I've posted on here in the past and it involves the initiatives the Trump administration is pursuing with HHS director Dr. Ben Carson, Black community leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, entertainers, Clergy, business leaders, banks, and a host of other interested parties to revitalize the inner cities.
It gets complicated and too "in the weeds" to easily explain on a message board but I'm familiar with many principles involved in this effort and I'm telling you it is unlike anything anyone has ever seen or done!
It involves all elements the Left has been trying to tell us they are concerned about when it comes to poor Blacks, but they (Left) have been very weak on delivering actual results.
However from capital formation, to job & education training, to community revitalization projects, to personal responsibility based on an incentive/reward paradigm, these initiatives represent a radical shift away from the traditional Liberal orthodoxy offered to poor Blacks as a way to enter America's economic mainstream.
Ask yourselves a question.
Where Liberal Big Government income assistance and programs have been offered to rescue the poor from blighted neighborhoods or restore economic opportunity in them what's been the result? What do you see no matter where you go?
In city after city the very things all these massive income redistribution programs are designed to eliminate.... Poverty, crime, no jobs, despair, unhappiness, anger, strife, misery, loss of hope....is all you see!
The verdict is unanimous. The Left's programs aren't working, haven't worked, and don't work (won't work)
Trump's initiatives however attack this problem with THAT as the recognized starting point and then it offers an entirely different approach to solving the problem. The answer is to take the Government out of trying to solve the problems, and put in those people who can.
Novel idea, but seeing it being placed into action is exciting because for the first time Blacks aren't being told what can't be done, they are being given power themselves to do what can be done!
Powerful.
Once this initiative takes root, it will mean an end to the Democrat party poverty pimps...their lies, their failed formulas, their political power. If Trump manages to turn Blacks away from Democrats, thus assuring their political irrelevancy...he will end up as the biggest transformational political figure in this country since Lincoln.
Watch this folks, just don't expect to see the main stream news media helping Trump along by enthusiastically reporting on much of this outreach.
Just sit back and watch the results change the fortunes of poor Black people in this country when they realize their own power when they are properly empowered and not made to feel like wards of the State.
Most of you all have probably never even heard of any of this, much less think Trump's behind it. Which is good. The less the Left and Democrats see what's happening, the better it will slap them in the face once they finally figure out they've been replaced.
